Welcome to HippiesWear.com. By using this website and placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Terms of Purchase
When you place an order with Hippies Wear, you will receive an email confirming your order details. This email is an acknowledgment of your order, not acceptance. Acceptance occurs when your order is dispatched by Hippies Wear.
Hippies Wear reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to product availability, errors in product or pricing information, or issues identified by Hippies Wear’s payment processing system.
2. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in EUR (€) and include applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise. Hippies Wear accepts payment via major credit cards processed securely through Stripe and other secure payment methods available at checkout.
Orders will only be processed and dispatched once full payment has been received by Hippies Wear.
3. Shipping & Delivery
Hippies Wear ships worldwide from its store in Faro, Portugal or Kathmandu, Nepal, and through online delivery partners. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated and displayed at checkout.
Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to external factors such as customs procedures or local postal delays.
Hippies Wear is not responsible for delays caused by external shipping companies, customs, or other circumstances beyond our control.
4. Customs, Duties & Taxes
International orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, and taxes once the shipment reaches your country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping fee.
5. Returns & Exchanges (Online Orders)
Right to Return
In accordance with EU consumer law, customers have the right to return online purchases within 14 days of receiving the order.
Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return, items must:
Be unused and in original condition, with all tags attached.
Be returned in their original packaging.
Exceptions (Non-Returnable Items)
Returns are not accepted for the following:
Handmade Thangka paintings
Earrings and undergarments
Custom-made or personalized products
Opened and unsealed items where hygiene is a concern
6. Return Procedure
To request a return, customers must contact Hippies Wear at info@hippieswear.com with their order number and reason for the return.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Refunds
After Hippies Wear receives and inspects the returned items to confirm they meet the return conditions. Refunds will be initiated by Hippies Wear as soon as the inspection is completed and the items are approved for return.
Please note: Once the refund is initiated, the time it takes for the refunded amount to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and bank. This typically takes approximately 10–14 working days, but may vary depending on your financial institution.
7. Product Information & Availability
Hippies Wear makes every effort to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate and up to date. However, occasional errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may occur, and Hippies Wear reserves the right to correct any such information and update product details without prior notice.
Please note that all our products are handmade or hand-stitched and are not mass-produced. As a result, measurements may vary slightly between individual items, typically by a few centimeters. This is considered a natural characteristic of handmade products and is not treated as a defect.
Product availability is subject to change without notice. Hippies Wear reserves the right to discontinue or modify products at any time without prior notification.
8. Limitation of Liability
Hippies Wear shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use products or services offered through HippiesWear.com, beyond the value of the purchased product itself.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts, without prejudice to any mandatory rights that consumers may have under their national laws.
10. Force Majeure
A clause excusing you from liability if you can’t perform obligations due to uncontrollable events (natural disasters, wars, pandemics).
11. Modification of Terms
Hippies Wear reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on this page.
